NAVSEA (Naval Sea Systems Command) Standard Item 009-32 is a complete set of cleaning and painting specifications required to be used aboard ships, on equipment and structures as specified by the United State Navy.

NCP Coatings, Inc. is QPL approved on both the Type III & IV versions of this epoxy polyamide system formulated for immersion service and to protect surfaces from environmental attack. NCP Coatings, Inc. offers this line of products in Formula; 150, 151, 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, 157, 158 and 159 zinc rich epoxy primer. MIL-DTL-24441D Type III & IV is designed for use over steel and aluminum in marine and industrial environments where a hard, durable, chemical resistant coating is desired.

NCP Coatings, Inc. offers both the conventional 340 gram/liter (2.8 VOC) and the 250 gram/liter (2.08 VOC) versions of this QPL approved coatings system in Standard, LRC (low reflective coating), LSA (low solar absorbency) and LSA/Non-stain versions.  This product is available in full range of colors and is a co polymerized silicone alkyd enamel designed to protect ship topsides against the sun’s rays and the harsh marine environment.   

NCP Coatings, Inc. also offers our N-6267 340 gram/liter (2.8 VOC) gray alkyd enamel for interior and exterior shipboard use.

NCP Coatings, Inc. also offers our N-7282 340 gram/liter (2.8 VOC) white alkyd enamel for interior and exterior shipboard use.

NCP Coatings, Inc. offers this product in our N-6949 340 gram/liter (2.8 VOC). TT-P-645B Navy Formula 84 is an anti-corrosive zinc molybdate primer for use in marine and industrial environments.

This High Heat Aluminum designed for use on superheated steam lines, boiler casings, boiler drums, superheated headers and other applications at temperatures where resistance to temperatures up to 1200ºF is desired is also available through NCP Coatings, Inc.  Our N-6974 meets the new H revision of this 250 gram/liter (2.08 VOC) product.

NCP Coatings, Inc. offers several colors of this semi-gloss chlorinated alkyd enamel designed for use on interior spaces where flame resistance is required including Soft White our N-5639 and Bulkhead Gray our N-5650.

NCP Coatings, Inc. offers all specification colors of this semi-gloss chlorinated alkyd enamel designed for use on interior spaces where flame resistance is required including Soft White our N-8380 and Bulkhead Gray our N-8381.  VOC of this product line is < 250 grams/liter.

NCP Coatings, Inc. offers Grade C of this semigloss solvent based chlorinated alkyd and Grade A and B of the water based version.  These products are fire retardant, non intumescent coatings designed for use on interior spaces of surface ships and submarines.  They are available in all eleven colors covered in the specification including Soft White and Bulkhead Gray.

NCP Coatings, Inc. offers this 250 gram/liter (2.08 VOC) QPL approved coating system in Standard, LRC (low reflective coating), and LSA (low solar absorbency) version in several colors.  This semi-gloss acrylic emulsion enamel is designed for use over primed, exterior surfaces where gloss and color retention are needed.

NCP Coatings, Inc. offers this unique QPL approved two-component polyester urethane camouflage paint our N-7384A/B 340 gram/liter (2.8 VOC) product designed for use over submarine tiles to provide a flexible, weather resistant coating.
