TT-C-490 Type III Wash Primers

DOD-P-15328 wash primer for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. MIL-C-8514 wash primer series designed specifically for use on aluminum substrates is also available.  Both systems meet the pre-treatment requirements of TT-C-490 Type III. Consider NCP chrome-free wash primers, too.

MIL-DTL-53022 Epoxy Primers

This highly corrosion-resistant lead- and chrome-free epoxy primer specification is available for use on military and commercial equipment.

MIL-DTL-53030 Water Reducible Epoxy Primer

Complete water reducible primer and topcoat solution when used in conjunction with our approved CARC top coats meeting the MIL-DTL-64159 specification.

MIL-DTL-53039 CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings) Topcoats

NCP’s HAP-free line-up includes our SmartTouch aerosol touch-up versions of this coating.

MIL-DTL-64159 Water Reducible CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings)

A complete water-reducible CARC system that is HAP-free with low VOC. It has excellent application and touch-up properties. This water-reducible topcoat is used in conjunction with our approved water-reducible MIL-DTL-53030 epoxy primer.

 

MIL-PRF-22750 Epoxies

Two-component, high-solids epoxy coating used on the interior of tactical equipment. Available in a wide variety of colors and gloss ranges including high gloss, semi-gloss and lusterless. Coating colors are designated by FED-STD-595 color chip number.

MIL-DTL-11195 Enamel

This lead- and hexavalent chromium-free enamel is a lusterless, fast-dry system for use on ammunition and other metals as well as exterior and interior substrates.

MIL-PRF-14105 Heat Resistant Coating

Heat-resistant coating for use on steel surfaces exposed to high temperatures and exterior weathering.  This coating is HAP free.

MIL-PRF-32550 (A-A-59745) CID Zinc-Rich Coatings

Available in either a single-component zinc-rich moisture cure primer or an epoxy polyamide system. These primers yield 90% zinc in the dried film, for use where extreme corrosion resistance is required.

This coating is recommended as the first coat for equipment and machinery that require enhanced corrosion systems. Meets the requirements of SSPC 20 and QPL-approved to MIL-PRF-32550.

These products are well-suited for general industrial applications — such as heavy equipment, trailers and trucks — where a high-performance epoxy primer is desired.
